Georadars

Interferometric radar systems for remote monitoring of the stability of the sides and ledges of open-cut mine workings, tailings dumps and dams in order to improve industrial safety during mining operations. The main purpose of interferometric radars is to detect deformation displacements of rocks at early stages in order to timely prevent critical situations in case of detection of potentially dangerous zones with rapidly developing deformation processes.

A distinctive feature of interferometric radars developed and manufactured by IDS GeoRadar is the use of synthetic aperture antennas. This technological solution, compared to radars with real aperture, allows monitoring of large areas with high scanning speed and high spatial resolution.
